Advanced Tool Handling
Kitamura’s patented high speed fixed pot ATC system ensures accurate and effective tool changes and tool identification. Multi-tasking minimizes the “out-of-cut” time, returning the old tool and placing the next tool in the ready position while the tool in the spindle is still cutting the work piece.
  • Generous tool capacity – stores up to 300 tools with the option of in-field installation
  • Servo driven ATC design allows for higher speeds, have less vibration and are virtually maintenance free
  • Tools are always returned to the same tool pot. The tool magazine keeps the next tool in a standby port for fast, efficient tool changes
  • Large diameter tools and spindle adapters (angular heads, spindle speed changers and large U-axis heads for 50 taper machines) can be used without fear of interference or tool crashes
